Return & Exchange

Our statement.

At Abysse, we gladly accept returns for store credit when received in original condition.

If you are not sure about your size, please use the "What's my size" widget or contact us for advice as we want to encourage our customers to reduce carbon footprint by avoiding multiple shipments.

Please go on our Return and Exchange portal and follow our Return Policy Guidelines below prior to returning any items.

Domestic US Sales Policy

If you would like to make an exchange for a different size or for another item, the request has to be made and items returned within 15 days of receiving your goods. After receiving approval for your exchange or store credit, please package your suit securely and send it back to the provided address, along with your original receipt. Please be sure to obtain a tracking number with your return to insure proof of delivery. Please follow our guidelines below.

Please note the following Return Policy Guidelines:

      • We gladly accept returns when received in original condition: new, unused, unwashed, free of deodorant stains, with tags and hygienic liners in place. Returns not abiding by this policy will be returned to sender

      • Please fold your return items with care and package them securely as received. 
      • Please be sure to obtain a tracking number with your return to ensure proof of delivery

      • All sale items are final sale and not eligible for store credit

      • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

      • Customer pays for return shipping (except when receiving wrong item or size)

 A note on returning wetsuits / neoprene:

  • Avoid using a smaller box than received or a small bag. We recommend to use the box that you received from us.

  • Please fold the wetsuit neatly with the zipper exposed and not touching any neoprene (nor any other neoprene items if sending back several wetsuit pieces). This is because the neoprene surface is delicate and subject to marking / creasing.
  • You do not need to include any cards that were included in your original package. Please ensure that hang tags on your swimwear items are not marking the surface of the neoprene wetsuits. 

Loss or Damage

Please note that Abysse is not responsible for packages which are lost or damaged during shipment, or for locating lost or stolen packages once they have been delivered. This applies to both domestic and international orders.

If you would like to purchase additional services, such as signature confirmation or insurance, please include a note with your order and we will contact you via email to confirm availability & price.

Additionally, Abysse is not responsible for replacing packages sent to erroneous or outdated addresses, as entered by the customer, so please be sure to double check your shipping address before placing your order.

International Sales Policy

Due to high shipping costs, we are not able to cover the cost of outbound shipping for exchanges on International orders.

  • We gladly accept returns for store credit only (minus taxes, duties and fees associated) when received in original condition: new, unused, unwashed, free of deodorant stains, with tags and hygienic liners in place.
  • Please fold your return items with care and package them securely as received
  • Please be sure to obtain a tracking number with your return to ensure proof of delivery.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Customer pays for return shipping on exchanges or credit store
  • Outbound exchange item shipping is charged to customer
  • All sales are final on sale items

As noted above, we are not responsible for any goods lost or damaged in transit.

Customs & Duties

International orders may be subject to customs and duty charges, which vary greatly depending on the destination country. These charges are payable upon arrival to the local government by the customer and are not included in the original purchase price or shipping charges. These fees will be due at the time of delivery and are non-refundable. If the recipient fails to pay applicable duties and taxes, the package will be abandoned and Abysse will not refund the abandoned order, including shipping charges and fees. 

Faulty Items

Goods are considered faulty if they are received damaged or if a manufacturing fault has occurred. Please carefully follow care instructions, as the item will not be exchanged if the item has been wrongly damaged. Items damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty and will not be exchanged.

Sale Items

Returns or refunds are not available on sales items.

Cancellation

At Abysse, we strive to provide our customers with a seamless and satisfactory shopping experience. We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your order, and we have established the following cancellation policy to address such situations:

Order Cancellation Period:

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of the time the order was placed. After this time frame, the order may have already entered the processing or shipping stage, and cancellation may not be possible.

Cancellation Process:
To cancel an order, customers must contact our customer support team as soon as possible through our designated channels, which include email (contact@abysseofficial.com) or on the chat.
Please provide your order number and relevant details for a prompt and efficient cancellation process.
 
Refund Process:
If the cancellation is made within 24h and order not yet fulfilled, a refund will be issued to the original payment method minus the credit card fees that are being charged by the payment gateway (2.6% to 3%) that we cannot retrieve. 
Refunds may take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider. 
Alternatively, a credit store of full amount could be done in place of the partial amount refund.

After 24h and/or when the order has already been fulfilled, cancellation won't be possible in any cases.
